Cosmetic Condition: This ES-175 shows very little signs of aging or play wear when considering its age. The bodies finish is glossy showing little to no checking or other blemishes. The back of the neck is smooth outside of a few small dings near the area below the 10t fret. The chrome hardware is only lightly tarnished.

Tech Notes: Currently, set up with 11-gauge wound 3rd strings and medium-low to low action. The neck has slight twist sighting straight along the treble side but with a slight hump on the bass side near the body joint. The frets are wide with moderate height showing minimal play wear as they have been recently crowned.– The serial number can date from 1968 or 1970-72. The lack of a “Made in the USA” embossment on the back of the headstock dates this instrument from 1968.
