Modifications / Repairs: The guitar has been heavily modified and repaired. -The entire guitar has been refinished. -The neck has been reset and the neck heel has been broken and repaired (see pictures). -The guitar has been refretted and the nut has been replaced. -A cutaway has been added in the the treble side shoulder. -All of the hardware has been replaced. -There is a patch of wood added in the treble side of the lower bout where the output jack cracked through the side. The output jack was then shifted over.

Case Details: Original hard shell case. The handle is missing. There are tears throughout the case, as well as areas where the back and top have separated from the sides.

Cosmetic Condition: The guitar has been fully refinished in a cherry or wine red color. The finish is glossy with checking, scuffs, and scratches throughout. There are areas of missing finish throughout the neck and edge of the fingerboard, most notably beneath the tongue. There is a large chip in the face of the headstock near the low E tuner. A couple pieces of binding are missing from the pick guard. There is some orange peel and finish drip spots present, particularly on the back of the body and headstock as well as the cutaway.

Tech Notes: -The guitar plays well with low action. The frets are wide and tall with no play wear. -The guitar has no serial number because the f-hole sticker is missing. The laminate maple body, crown headstock inlay and double parallelogram fret markers date the guitar to the mid 1940s (probably 1946).
